Welcome to Hair at The Laneway!

Affectionately known as “The Laneway”, we take great pride in our reputation, and have become well known for providing our clients with that “just perfect” colour, cut or style.

The owners, Lesley Shanks and Rochelle Markovina first worked together in a popular local salon over 10 years ago. Sharing a similar ethos, Lesley and Rochelle embrace not only technical skill, but an appreciation for the finer, particular elements required to provide that “just perfect” result.

“Quite often a visit to the hair salon can involve an emotional decision,” say's Rochelle. “We spend time understanding the person and their individual needs and consult with them on a personal level to provide their desired result, in an atmosphere which is relaxing and fun.” 

We are passionate about all things hairdressing and are dedicated to maintaining up-to-the-minute styling skills. All our stylists regularly attend master classes and trend innovations training with various leading hair institutions in Sydney and interstate. It is our goal that you walk away with a complete look that you manage in your own home.

The Laneway is open Monday to Saturday and Thursdays until late (closed Sunday).
